We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Financial Analyst to support financial operations across all departments and project teams company-wide. This role goes beyond project-level reporting — the ideal candidate will serve as a cross-functional resource, partnering with leadership, operations, and project teams to deliver both project-specific financial oversight and high-level portfolio insights. Strong financial acumen paired with technical and data skills is essential.


Position Title: Financial Analyst

Salary Range: $85,000 to $90,000


Purpose of the position:

The Financial Analyst has the essential role and responsibility of providing analytical support to project teams and management.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Prepare KPI analysis for individual projects as well as high-level, company-wide portfolio reporting
  • Compare cost estimates and budgets to actual expenses; monitor costs for significant variances, investigate causes, and identify corrective measures
  • Prepare and maintain financial forecasting across assigned projects and at the portfolio level
  • Conduct audits on the job cost ledger to ensure expenses are recorded accurately and in accordance with company policy
  • Serve as a financial point of contact for project teams — attending meetings independently, communicating findings clearly, and providing confident, direct guidance on financial matters
  • Support all departments across the company with financial analysis, data requests, reporting, and ad hoc analytical tasks
  • Assist in overseeing financial performance and reporting on assigned projects
  • Perform other analytical and financial duties as needed

Minimum Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other equivalent business program, or 2+ years of construction finance related experience
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools preferred
  • Working knowledge of SQL; familiarity with cloud database environments (e.g., AWS RDS) is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Working knowledge of job-based accounting software; knowledge of Sage Timberline & Procore preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills — must be comfortable presenting findings and recommendations directly to project teams and department leads
  • Confident, personable, and collaborative; able to navigate conversations with multiple stakeholders and clearly advocate for data-driven decisions
  • Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Proven attention to detail and strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools, platforms, and data systems
  • Ability to work within established policies, procedures, and company guidelines while maintaining confidentiality and fiscal integrity
  • Reliability, dependability, and flexibility are a must
  • Ability to work at a jobsite if needed
