Financial Analyst

We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This is a long-term contract position that requires expertise in financial analysis and reporting to support business operations and decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to interpret data, resolve issues, and provide valuable insights to improve analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance analytics and reporting deliverables to meet customer needs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on customer data, metrics, and reports to provide actionable insights.
• Address and resolve issues related to deployed analytics solutions in a timely manner.
• Conduct financial modeling and variance analysis to support business objectives.
• Provide training and expert support for customer self-service tools and analytics platforms.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis to assist in strategic decision-making.
• Utilize data mining techniques to identify trends and opportunities within financial data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and relevance in reporting.
• Leverage Microsoft SQL Server to manage and analyze large datasets effectively.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and variance analysis techniques.
• Strong skills in ad hoc financial analysis and data interpretation.
• Experience with data mining methodologies to uncover insights within complex datasets.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server for data management and analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Effective communication skills to present findings and train users.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
