The Financial Analyst provides national financial oversight for the U.S. Technical Training Organization, supporting 22 training centers across five regions. This role is responsible for managing and reporting on the national technical training budget while ensuring alignment with broader organizational financial objectives.
The analyst partners closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support budget planning, purchase requisitions, invoicing, accruals, and monthly financial reconciliation. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities, work independently, and drive tasks through to completion while contributing as a collaborative team member.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide national oversight of the technical training budget, including expense, forecast, and capital tracking
Support the development and management of the annual Technical Training budget
Partner with Finance to ensure alignment with departmental and corporate financial plans (including capital planning and budget presentations)
Monitor financial activities and approvals to ensure timely and accurate execution
Create and manage purchase requisitions for both expense and capital purchases
Process non-PO invoices and resolve related issues, including refunds and supplier discrepancies
Manage supplier relationships as the primary point of contact for payments, purchase orders, and invoice status
Maintain and reconcile monthly financials, including accruals, cost tracking, and budget status reporting
Develop and maintain financial reports and tracking tools (e.g., cost trackers, forecast files, cross-charge reports)
Maintain financial systems and documentation, including PSAP goods receipts and training center updates
Establish and update financial policies, procedures, and job aids
Maintain finance repositories across corporate platforms (e.g., OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive)
Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation efforts
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or accounting support
Strong understanding of financial processes, including invoicing, accruals, reconciliation, and budget tracking
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office applications
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting national or multi-location operations
Familiarity with training or dealership network environments
Experience with SAP, PentaSAP (PSAP), or similar ERP systems
Experience managing capital budgets and project-based financial tracking
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, reporting tools)
Experience developing financial policies, procedures, and job aids
Knowledge of corporate financial reporting processes (e.g., WER or similar frameworks)
Experience resolving supplier issues, including non-PO invoices and payment discrepancies
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
