Financial Analyst

Job Purpose

The Financial Analyst will support project financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis. The role focuses on project-based accounting within EPC, construction, or oil & gas environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets and forecasts
• Perform cost analysis and monitor project margins
• Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights
• Track project profitability and financial performance
• Monitor cash flow , billing cycles, and milestone-based revenue
• Support revenue recognition and work-in-progress (WIP) tracking
• Analyze contract structures including Lump Sum, Cost Plus, and EPC contracts
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across projects and operations

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• ACCA / Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification required
• 5–10+ years of relevant experience in finance or FP&A
• Experience in EPC, construction, or oil & gas industries preferred

Key Skills

• Advanced Excel modeling
• Experience with SAP ERP systems
• Strong financial analysis and data interpretation skills
• Excellent reporting and presentation capabilities
• Strong communication skills with senior management and cross-functional teams

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to joint venture (JV) projects
• Experience in claims management and variation order analysis
