ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking a seasoned Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team in Qatar. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with providing financial insights and support that drive strategic decision-making and enhance fiscal performance. The role demands an analytical mind prepared to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced Information Technology and Services environment.

Collecting and analyzing financial data, performing financial and statistical analyses, developing indicators, and evaluating the financial position.

Providing financial forecasts for expenses, purchases, and revenues.

Analyzing previous financial results with the aim of controlling quality processes.

Analyzing financial conditions by comparing actual results with indicators and forecasts.

Developing policies and procedures that help estimate project financial costs.

Continuously monitoring financial plans, setting performance indicators, and providing financial proposals and recommendations to management, while maintaining ongoing oversight of the financial status of multiple projects through weekly reports showing budgets, forecasts, purchase requests, purchase orders, contract status, outstanding receivables, and other relevant accounting data.

Continuous reconciliation and updating between transaction movements and the data recorded in the budget.

Providing management with reports that include all updates on the financial performance of budgets and projects immediately upon request, and periodic (monthly) reports covering expenses, revenues, commitments, projects, and related matters.

Preparing quarterly financial reports for management regarding the progress of expenses and revenues for each project, setting performance indicators, evaluating each project’s status and deviations, and providing feedback and improvement recommendations to enhance financial performance.

Preparing charts, diagrams, and graphical reports, and delivering presentations in a professional, clear, and interactive format that reflect the actual situation, financial flows, sequences, achieved impacts, and forecasts in a clear and creatively designed manner.

Working directly with the accounting team to ensure that revenues and expenses are recorded on time.

Preparing financial reports, analyses, and models as requested.

Assisting the team and providing them with the necessary information as quickly as needed.

Following up and ensuring that all team tasks are progressing efficiently and effectively.

Organizing and standardizing follow-up processes and procedures into unified, clear, and high-quality work templates in both form and content, based on smart analytical tools, and presenting them to management for adoption by the team.

Completing the establishment and organization of procedures for financial reporting and monitoring, transferring this knowledge, training the specialized team on work mechanisms and follow-up, ensuring proper practice, enabling the team to perform these tasks at the highest quality, and presenting this to management through a structured team specialized in reporting and monitoring.
Required Profile
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in financial management, demonstrated expertise in data analysis, and a keen ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Your exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail will contribute directly to the success of our teams in Qatar.

Bachelor’s degree in administrative and commercial fields (Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce), Master’s degree preferred.

At least 5–7 years of solid experience in accounting, financial analysis, and budget analysis (including variance analysis between actuals and forecasts or period-based analysis), as well as preparing reports and presentations.

Full knowledge of government financial regulations and the procurement and tendering law and its executive regulations.

Previous experience in handling multiple tasks under pressure or within tight deadlines.

Preferably prior consulting experience in the government or semi-government sector (considered an advantage).

Strong skills in planning, setting, and tracking operational performance indicators (KPIs).Strong modeling skills and financial data analysis capabilities.

Ability to create templates for tracking financial data and building interactive dashboards.

Skills in developing and maintaining financial models for forecasting and budgeting purposes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and the use of professional presentation tools.

Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as Power PI.

Strong report-writing skills and the ability to clearly document situations, challenges, and organizational issues, presenting data in well-structured reports with clear communication and recommendations.

Excellent presentation skills in Arabic, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.

Strong time management skills and ability to prepare financial reports.

High level of accuracy and organization, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong on-the-job training skills and ability to transfer knowledge effectively.
