Description

As a Financial Analyst, you will exercise independent judgment in forensically analyzing information to support litigation, forensic accounting, and valuation services, with a focus on determining damages in commercial litigation and intellectual property matters. This role offers a great opportunity for someone with an accounting or finance background who wants to work at a growing company in a unique field.

Essential Functions

· Reviewing, analyzing and organizing documents, data and other information

· Preparing detailed schedules and analyses supporting expert opinions

· Documenting results in a clear and concise manner

· Assisting in drafting expert reports, including identifying evidence supporting opinions

· Participating in meetings and phone calls with counsel and client personnel

· Reviewing and analyzing opposing expert reports and calculations

· Performing quality control of our calculations, reports and other work products

· Performing research of various industries and companies

Requirements

· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

· CPA designation not required but we offer sponsorship for obtaining license

· Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

· Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

· Significant attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Physical Requirements

• The ability to sit at a desk up to 80% of the time
• The ability to stand and walk up to 20% of the time
• The ability to be confined in a small area, such as a cubicle
• The ability to operate phones and computers

Hours of Work

· Fulltime: Defined as 5 days a week for 40 hours per week. Actual working hours will be discussed with the hiring manager.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
