POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a mid-to-senior level Financial Analyst (FP&A/Accounting Operations) role responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, accruals, payments, reporting, and variance analysis. The analyst will support Comcast's Program Accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting while identifying operational efficiencies and supporting business decisions through data-driven insights.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and reconcile monthly network payments and accruals.

Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.

Assist in budget preparation and forecasting activities.

Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts.

Prepare and review journal entries during month-end and year-end close processes.

Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Analyze and manage large datasets using Excel and database tools.

Utilize SQL, Teradata, Oracle, and Essbase for data extraction and reporting.

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements.

Research and resolve payment, accrual, and reporting discrepancies.

Support audit activities and maintain proper financial documentation.
