Soni is partnered with a client seeking a
Financial Analyst
to join a growing
FP&A team within a PE-backed organization in Nashville
. This role is heavily focused on
data-driven financial reporting, variance analysis, and building scalable reporting tools
as the team continues to expand its FP&A and analytics capabilities.

, where you’ll help strengthen financial reporting infrastructure, support Power BI expansion, and improve forecasting and decision-making processes across the business.
Responsibilities:

Prepare
monthly financial reporting
and perform
P&L variance analysis

Build and enhance
financial models
for budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly planning

Develop and improve
reporting dashboards and data tools
, with a focus on Power BI expansion

Analyze
revenue, expense, and KPI trends
to identify insights and risks
-
Use
Excel and SQL
to manipulate and analyze large datasets
-
Support
month-end close and FP&A reporting cycles
-
Translate complex financial data into
clear insights for leadership decision-making

Partner with FP&A leadership to improve
reporting accuracy, automation, and forecasting processes
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field

2–4+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience

Strong understanding of
month-end close and FP&A cycles

Advanced Excel skills (must be highly proficient)

Strong analytical skills with ability to work through large datasets

Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex data
Preferred:

Experience with
Power BI and/or dashboard development

Exposure to
SQL or data reporting tools

Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth environment

Healthcare experience is a plus (not required)

NetSuite exposure helpful but not required
Compensation:
$80,000 - $90,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
