Financial Analyst- AR Cash Applications

🚨 We’re Hiring: Financial Analyst ( AR Cash Application ) 🚨

1-3 years of work experience in Cash Application

📍 Location: Gurgaon Sec 48

🕔 Shift Timings: 5 PM – 2 AM IST

🏢 Work Model: WFO (Two-way cab facility provided within hiring zone)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

• Daily processing of cash deposit batches and postings to customer accounts, including payments made by check, EFT payments, and credit cards as per defined SOP.
• Identifying and resolving payment discrepancies, and answers client inquiries as needed
• Post all cash, credit card and ACH/Wire transactions with optimum quality
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, misapplied, unapplied or missing payments and determine proper application
• Research outstanding credit balances and prepare request for refunds
• Work on requests received via Service Now portal and timely closure of requests
• Timely resolution of payment posted as Suspense
• Audit of service now tickets to make sure that request has been processed and close the ticket
• Customer credit request in ERP as per the instructions from Collections team
• Develop reports and metrics, own and drive data integrity, and provide quality output
• Perform sample audit of payment posting, report out accuracy details to leadership and make sure the feedback is shared with team members
• Research payments inquiries from internal and external customers and assisted with payment reconciliations

SKILLS-

• Relevant Exp.- 2 years
• Fair knowledge of Accounts Receivables and understanding of end-to-end OTC Cycle
• Skilled in verbal and written communication • Focus on continuous improvement initiatives
• Experienced in working on different ERP's and exposure to end to end process mapping
• Should be able to work with minimal guidance
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment that includes offshore colleagues
• Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.
• Understanding of MS office products
