Summary
The associate analyst will perform accounting-related & non-related duties and work closely with the Director of Finance, or Assistant Director of Finance, as well as the operation department heads, to achieve optimal staffing levels & organizational goals.
Essential Functions: responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee the weekly forecasting process and ensure accurate volume inputs are uploaded into Dimensions.
Monitor and evaluate weekly schedule compliance in alignment with forecasted labor demands.
Lead accountability initiatives through daily reviews of the operational dashboard and facilitate weekly performance meetings.
Proactively communicate missed meals, OL hours, and timecard discrepancies.
Analyze and report on the previous week's performance metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure consistent follow-through on action items and accountability measures.
Responsible to track all accounts receivable processing.
Responsible to invoice all airlines.
Collect cash drops, update Evention, prepare bank deposit.
Cash handling-change-supplies bags, folders for filling.
Respond to chargebacks and guest requests.
Upload daily audit file to Share Point.
Review the daily cash tracker, post payments locally when require.
Review daily tax-exempt report and back up. File monthly tax-exempt.
Post manager group requests on folios.
Review and approve TA Connection Commission and API before AP pays.
Monthly Bill backs, rent spaces, House billing and walks.
Additional Responsibilities:
Special projects as assigned by management or ownership.
Qualifications
Required:
Able to work weekends and holidays as required to meet deadlines.
Able to work flexible hours and extended shifts as required and to meet deadlines.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
Strong interpersonal, problem solving and planning skills.
Able to carry out tasks independently and accurately.
Ability to manage time and energies in an efficient, effective and organized manner.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, familiar with internet page browsing and conducting a complete internet research.
Ability to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.
Ability to operate phones, calculator, computer equipment, fax machines, copiers and printers.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from accredited four-year college or university.
MBA.
CPA.
Experience with accounting software and PMS software.
