Overview:
The Program Finance department serves as a critical business partner by providing analysis, insight, and guidance to enable strategic program decisions and achieving bottom-line results.
This position, located at the Quonset Point, RI Facility, supports the COLUMBIA Construction Program Finance team.
Responsibilities include:

Performance measurement and variance analysis; including Cost Account Plans

Communication with Cost Account Managers and department Directors

Create and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports

Estimate at Complete development

Budget development and maintenance
-
Preparation of cost reports to support both internal and external customers

Manpower Plan and Operating Plan development

Shop order control
-
Preparation of billing instructions for submittal to Cash Management
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics
Preferred:
-
2+ years of related experience

Prior Electric Boat employment or internship

Experience with Earned Value Management

Experience with Power BI
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint

Must be interested in and capable of analyzing large sets of data with minimal supervision
