The Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Business Finance Manager in driving the financial strategy and optimization of the business portfolio. This position demands an analytical and strategic professional with a strong background in finance and analytics. The Financial Analyst will support in budgeting, forecasting, analytics, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Key Requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field is essential.
o A Master's degree or financial certification (ACCA, CA, CFA, CMA etc) is highly preferred.
o 1-3 years of progressive experience in a Financial Analyst or similar role is essential.
o Prior experience within the retail industry is strongly preferred.
o Exposure to capital expenditure analysis and property-related finance is a significant advantage.
o Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint (e.g. pivot tables, LOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, financial modeling, sensitivity analysis, complex formulas) is mandatory.
o Demonstrated experience with major ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
o Familiarity with financial reporting tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
o Strong Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, explain variances, and provide actionable insights.
o Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy in data preparation, reconciliation, and reporting.
o Commercial / Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
o Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
o Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
o Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams, including regional property, accounting, and other finance functions.
