Financial Analyst - Entry Level

****MUST RESIDE IN IOWA-- Fully Remote *****

We are partnering with a well‑established organization that is looking to add an Entry‑Level Financial Analyst to their long‑tenured and highly collaborative team. This is an excellent foot‑in‑the‑door opportunity for someone who is analytical, eager to learn, and excited to grow within a stable company that invests in its people. The role starts on a contract‑to‑hire basis with strong potential for long‑term employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis activities.
• Assist in compiling monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages.
• Analyze trends, variances, and KPIs to support decision‑making.
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, models, and dashboards.
• Help reconcile financial data and ensure accuracy across systems.
• Work cross‑functionally to gather information and support ongoing projects.
• Participate in ad‑hoc analysis and special initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment.
• Must currently reside in the state of Iowa.
