HOW A FINANCIAL ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • This position will be responsible for a Sole Source BPA valued at $298M and growing.
  • This fast-paced contract currently has 7 Task orders with 200 FTE’s including 100 subcontractors across 7 vendors with multiple contract types including T&M and CP.
  • Must work well independently and as part of the finance and functional teams
  • Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and variance reporting each month as well as the annual 5 year strategic plan.
  • Partner with program to maximize margin, and DSO.
  • Influence business decisions and manage risk.
  • Prepare financial charts in the PMRs in Insight
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing and collections
  • Provide pricing support for T&M task orders (using awarded sell rates).
  • Perform project set up, funding and tax allocations.
  • Contract mod review and approval / Closeouts
  • Prepare ASC 606 revenue recognition 5 step model, 5 Step determinations, and EAC’s
  • Prepare ODC corrections, AWARs, suspense clearing, contract closeouts
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
  • Communicate well with all levels of management
  • Must have strong / advanced excel skills, knowledge of SETRIS and PR’s.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel including, Macros, xlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and variance reporting
  • Experience with government contracting and familiarity with government regulations
  • Proficient in written and oral communications
  • Attention to detail as well as big picture view
  • Focus on critical path items
  • Capable of providing monthly reports with a strong sense of urgency and ownership
  • Hyperion / Smart view / Oracle

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
