To strengthen our finance team in Muscat, we are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Assistant to support day-to-day accounting and financial operations.

Role Overview

The Financial Assistant will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, transaction processing, and compliance activities. This role requires accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and reconciliations.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure compliance with policies.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Monitor financial transactions and highlight discrepancies.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in finance or accounting support roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (ERP experience preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RO850.000 per month
