Accountant Assistant

ROLE PURPOSE

The accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate, real-time financial control of daily data entry for Sales, AR, AP and Bank Reconciliation. The role focuses on enforcing system discipline through Odoo ERP and providing reliable daily data entry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily Accounting Control.

• Record and verify all sales entries and collections in Odoo ERP.
• Ensure all financial operation transactions are posted on the same day.
• Bank Deposits.
• Reconcile daily bank statements.
• Monitor cost variances and report abnormalities immediately.

Cash & Receivables Management

• Record and reconcile daily collections from sales team.
• Monitor customer balance and ageing reports.
• Flag overdue accounts and credit control enforcement.

ERP (Odoo) Discipline & Reporting

• Ensure all departments operate within Odoo workflows.
• Prevent off-system transactions.
• Generate daily operational dashboards including: Sales invoices, Monthly customers SOA, Cash collections, Credit exposure

Financial Reporting Support

• Assist with monthly closing activities.
• Reporting-ready at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RO250.000 - RO450.000 per month

Experience:

• FMCG: 2 years (Preferred)
• Odoo ERP: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driving Licence (Preferred)
