Financial Auditor and accountant

The Financial Auditor and Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE laws and healthcare financial regulations, and performing regular audits to safeguard the hospital’s assets. This role ensures transparency, accountability, and financial efficiency across all departments, including surgery, reception, and patient billing.

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting Functions

• Record, classify, and summarize all financial transactions of the hospital.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow).
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and petty cash.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper documentation for all transactions.
• Monitor and control expenses related to medical supplies, consumables, and staff operations.
• Support budgeting and forecasting based on hospital performance.
• Handle VAT submissions and coordinate with auditors for year-end financial closing.

Audit and Compliance

• Conduct periodic internal audits to verify accuracy of financial data and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Review billing procedures, patient payment records, and revenue from surgeries and consultations.
• Ensure proper control systems are in place for cash handling, refunds, and discounts.
• Detect and report any discrepancies, misuse of funds, or financial irregularities.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with corrective action plans.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare financial regulations, DHA, and JCI accreditation standards.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during annual audits.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze financial performance and provide management with actionable insights.
• Identify areas of cost optimization and revenue growth.
• Prepare periodic management reports on income trends, expenses, and profitability.
• Participate in strategic planning related to new services or expansions.

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• financial Audit: 1 year (Preferred)
• accountant: 1 year (Preferred)
• Clinic and hospital experiences: 1 year (Preferred)
