Financial Business Analyst

Job Description

The Financial Business Analyst is responsible for providing insightful financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making. This role plays a critical part in budgeting analysis, pricing analysis, and contract analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and analyze financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with variance analysis.
• Analyze financial documents and identify trends, and provide actionable insights for management.
• Support strategic initiatives by providing financial projections and scenario analysis.
• Assist in preparing final reports
• Evaluate financial risks and opportunities and recommend improvements in financial processes.
• Maintain data accuracy in financial systems and ensure adherence to internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or CFA, Chartered Accountant is a plus).
• 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Knowledge of financial statement analysis.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with corporate finance principles and investment analysis.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
