Join our Human Services Team!
Purpose:
Snohomish County Human Services, Behavioral Health & Veterans Division, is looking for a uniquely qualified individual to join our team. This individual will support our Division’s fiscal processes, policies, and procedures across various Division programs (including Veterans services, crisis services, and both internal and subcontracted behavioral health services). This individual will provide additional fiscal support for program managers, including supporting monitoring activities, streamlining invoicing and budget processes, and ensuring compliance with County, state, and federal laws. This individual will be required to develop robust, nimble funding tracking systems unique to the Division’s needs; track various funding streams and multiple budgets; provide reports; and support various team members with navigating County fiscal processes.
Important Position Notes

This position will report to the Division Manager and will interface with all Division supervisors on specific program needs and goals, in addition to working alongside the Administrative Services Division of Human Services

This is an on-campus position, with hybrid opportunities available after one year in the role. There may be required meetings or trainings outside of the Snohomish County Campus.
About You
You have experience working with complex financial systems, including Cayenta, Excel, and other systems, along with developing creative solutions to navigate challenging workflows. You can expertly track various funding streams – including local, state, and federal dollars – with various requirements, with strong attention to detail. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex financial information in a digestible, user-friendly way. You are flexible, collaborative, compassionate, organized, and have a desire to support behavioral health work.

BASIC FUNCTION
To perform professional financial compliance work and financial support services.
A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or other field directly related to professional accounting/auditing work; PLUS, three (3) years professional level experience in a position involving accounting/financial experience; OR, any combination of training and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities. Must pass job related tests.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Professional experience at a government agency in preferred.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
A valid State of Washington Driver's License may be required for employment.
