Financial Control Analyst (3861)
Job Accountabilities
- Assist in the implementation of ERP system for fixed asset register.
- Participate in reconciliation to some accounts on system.
- Assist in reviewing general and administrative expenses, Salaries and fixed assets by Segment by review all actual expenses of the bank's departments by segment and adjust errors then determine the cost driver to distribute the common / general costs to the bank’s departments
- Prepare line of business report by make driver to allocate all Indirect G&A expenses then compute the ratios for 4 line of business direct and indirect.
- Assist in control the General Account unit by review monthly Prepaid entries and Control other debit and other credit accounts and Control suspense and against nature accounts and revise the accrual entries for branches and hubs.
- Preparing G&A expense report by branch.
- Preparing Fixed Assets & Purchases Budget by Participate in preparing all depreciation expense budget for fixed assets and Purchases for different departments then follow up budget Vs actual.
- Preparing Operation risk department requirements like RCSA Reports, KRIs Report, BCP Report and End User Report
- Settle salaries entries between in-house systems and reconcile across systems.
- by extract FI Posting documents from ERP System with Core Banking Systems.
- Follow all relevant approved department’s policies, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the Finance department to ensure continuity of work
- Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal EG Bank policies and code of conduct to maintain EG Bank’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Required relevant experience in Accounting, Financial Controlling and Financial Analysis Fields
- Up to 3 years of experience
- Experience within Banking Industry will be considered as an asset
