This is a strategic role that combines technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership to support decision-making, drive compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement across our finance operations.

As Financial Controller, you will:

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee month-end closing activities and key reconciliations.

  • Manage statutory and tax filings, internal controls, and audit processes.

  • Monitor local legislation and proactively communicate impacts.

  • Lead financial performance reviews and forecasting processes.

  • Provide insights on financial results, working capital, and profitability.

  • Support dividend distribution and cash flow management.

  • Collaborate with KONE Business Services and finance GPOs to resolve issues and implement improvements.

  • Maintain documentation for local processes and IFRS-to-GAAP differences.

  • Drive adoption of global finance processes and tools (e.g., SAP, CPM Beacon).

  • May lead a team of finance professionals.

  • Act as the primary contact for local finance authorities and regulators.

  • Participate in M&A activities and integration of new units.

  • Advise on FX exposure, bank guarantees, and project finance matters.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. Advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.

  • Fluency in English is essential for effective communication across global teams and with external stakeholders.

  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in financial controlling as well as accounting.

  • Work experience within a multinational environment or a Big 4 audit firm is a plus.

  • Proven track record in managing complex financial reporting and compliance tasks.

  • Proficiency in SAP and CPM Beacon (SAP BPC) or similar financial consolidation and planning tools. Ability to navigate ERP systems and extract meaningful insights.

  • Deep understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local GAAP, and relevant tax legislation. Capable of interpreting and applying accounting principles to real-world scenarios.

  • Strong command of financial statement mechanics, including how integrated transactions and manual journal entries impact the P&L and balance sheet.

  • Skilled in coordinating with internal teams and external service providers (e.g., auditors, tax consultants, finance operations partners) to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

  • Experience in leading or mentoring finance professionals is preferred. Ability to foster collaboration, drive performance, and support team development.
