Financial Controller - 6 months Assignment

A leading Multinational Software & Infrastructure company looking for a talented and results-driven Financial Controller for a 6-month assignment to support our client's financial operations. This role requires someone who can step in and manage financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning on a temporary basis. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure financial accuracy and integrity, helping the company maintain its financial health during this transitional period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and compliance with regulations
• Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures to minimize risk
• Prepare monthly forecasts and analyze variances to budget
• Coordinate with external auditors and oversee audit processes
• Prepare and present financial analysis to senior management for decision-making
• Assist in budgeting and developing financial strategies
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure the financial goals align with operational strategies
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial reporting
• Provide support to the finance team and ensure smooth financial operations during the assignment
• Highlight opportunities for process improvement and cost savings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial controlling or accounting roles
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with financial management software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead a team and drive results in a short time frame
• Prior experience in a temporary or contract role is a plus
