Financial Controller- Morocco

The selected candidate will be based in Türkiye for the first 1–3 months for onboarding and transition purposes and will subsequently be assigned to our Morocco operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance, controlling, or financial reporting,
• Advanced level of English is required; French language skills will be considered a strong plus
• Experience in independent audit firms or exposure to audit processes is considered an asset
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling)
• Strong analytical mindset with solid financial literacy
• Structured thinker with strong prioritization and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with high attention to accuracy and strong reporting discipline
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• No restriction to travel

Job Description

• Preparing the company’s monthly performance reports and EBITDA analysis
• Preparing plant-based labor and general expense reports, including variance analysis for monthly KPI meetings
• Preparing project-based monthly profitability analyses
• Prepare and monitor yearly and monthly budget figures
• Elaborate and manage the budget in alignment with the strategic objectives of top management
• Monitoring price changes and updating them in the system
• Performing inventory valuation and controlling inventory level
• Controlling and overseeing the company’s accounting operations
• Ensuring the reliability of the company’s accounts and the preparation of financial and accounting records in accordance with applicable legislation
• Staying informed about changes in laws and regulations and ensuring full compliance
• Implementing the accounting standards selected by the group
• Managing independent audit processes and outsourced accounting activities
• Following up on all legal, financial, and administrative matters
• Supervising, organizing, and coordinating the company’s financial services to enable management to effectively define and direct its financial policy
• Supervising accounting teams to ensure proper organization, adherence to deadlines, and compliance with internal procedures
