Financial Controller Supervisor

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred)
• In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, the Turkish Commercial Code, and Tax Procedure Law (VUK)
• Proficient in accounting software (especially Nebim) and MS Office applications
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team management and leadership capabilities
• Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven working style
• Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)

Requirements

• Ensure accurate and complete execution of daily, monthly, and yearly accounting operations
• Oversee and control general ledger accounts
• Conduct foreign currency valuation processes
• Calculate and review depreciation
• Manage and record government incentive processes (e.g., Design Center, Technopark)
• Prepare financial statements and reports (balance sheets, income statements, etc.)
• Supervise, manage, and train the accounting team
• Execute period-end closing procedures (monthly, quarterly, annually)
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax declarations (VAT, Corporate Tax, Income Tax, Stamp Duty, etc.)
• Handle special tax matters such as transfer pricing and VAT refund processes
• Represent the company during tax audits and prepare required documentation
• Utilize and enhance ERP and accounting software (Nebim)
• Manage e-ledger, e-invoice, and e-archive processes
• Monitor official notifications and correspondence
• Prepare inflation accounting reports
• Oversee accounting processes of international subsidiaries
