Key Responsibilities:



  • Cost analysis and control: Identify and analyze cost drivers, prepare cost reports, and recommend cost-saving strategies. Conduct detailed analysis of operational expenses, cost variances, and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.


  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in creating budgets, forecasting costs, and monitoring performance against the budget through variance analysis.


  • Financial reporting: Produce monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports for senior management.


  • Inventory management: Monitor and value inventory, coordinate stock takes and ensure accurate tracking of the cost of goods sold.


  • Pricing support: Provide cost-based data to help management in setting prices for products and services.


  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to cost accounting standards and regulations


  • Monitoring and reporting: Monitor expenditures, track financial performance, and prepare accurate and timely reports, including variances, for management and stakeholders

  • Ensure accurate product costing, margin analysis, and cost optimization.


  • Process improvement: Work with production and operational teams to improve efficiency and implement cost-effective strategies

  • Maintaining standard costs, BOMs, routings, and overhead rates in the SAP; leading month-end close for COGS, absorption, and variances; performing materials, labor, and overhead variance analyses and product profitability analyses; driving cost-reduction initiatives, cost-to-serve and activity-based costing analyses

  • Responsible continuous process improvements: generating management reports and dashboards with KPIs (COGS, gross margin, unit cost, scrap/defects) and providing decision-support for pricing, make/buy, and capital projects.

  • Ensuring GAAP/IFRS compliance and internal controls including SOX as applicable; collaborating with all department like, Marketing, Manufacturing, Rental, Engineering, Procurement, and FP&A etc.


Qualification & Skills:


  • Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting/finance (CMA preferred)

  • 10+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing; strong knowledge of standard costing, absorption costing, and BOM/routings; SAP experience (SAP B1, or equivalent) ; advanced Excel and data-analysis skills; familiarity with Power BI/SQL a plus; and excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

  • Strong understanding of financial principles and deposit processes.

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software.

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
