Job Summary

The Financial Counsellor cum Manager is responsible for patient financial counselling, package explanation, billing coordination, and revenue management, while also overseeing front-end financial operations. The role ensures transparency, ethical counselling, smooth conversions, and financial discipline in IVF and fertility treatments.

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Financial Counselling

• Counsel patients regarding IVF, IUI, OPU, ET, and fertility treatment packages
• Clearly explain cost break-ups, inclusions, exclusions, and payment schedules
• Address patient queries related to pricing, refunds, and policies
• Ensure ethical, pressure-free counselling

Billing & Revenue Coordination

• Coordinate with billing, front desk, pharmacy, and accounts team
• Ensure accurate estimate generation, billing entries, and receipts
• Monitor daily collection, pending payments, and package closures
• Ensure all payments are credited to official hospital accounts only

Loan & EMI Coordination

• Guide patients regarding IVF loans, EMI options, and bank/NBFC tie-ups
• Coordinate documentation and approvals with loan partners
• Track loan disbursement status and payment receipt confirmation

Managerial & Operational Responsibilities

• Supervise financial counsellors / front desk billing staff
• Monitor conversion ratio (counselling to package closure)
• Share daily & monthly revenue MIS with management
• Ensure SOP adherence in financial discussions and documentation

Coordination & Compliance

• Work closely with doctors, floor coordinators, CRM, and calling team
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, ART Act, NABH, and audit requirements
• Maintain confidentiality of patient financial information

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate / MBA (Finance / Hospital Management preferred)
• Strong communication & counselling skills
• Experience in IVF / hospital financial counselling preferred
• Knowledge of billing software, Excel, and MIS reporting
• Ethical, patient-friendly, and target-oriented mindset

Experience

• 3–7 years in hospital / IVF financial counselling or healthcare operations
• Minimum 1–2 years in managerial / supervisory role preferred

Working Hours

• 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM
