Job Summary

The mission of the Financial Data Analyst is to support the optimization and implementation of our finance system. This role will be instrumental in auditing and analyzing financial data, developing reporting tools, and ensuring system integrity. The ideal candidate will possess strong Excel skills, experience with SQL databases and Tableau, and solid foundation in accounting and finance principles.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in the rollout and configuration of our gaming revenue system.
  • Perform regular audits and analyses of financial data from the system to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Tableau and other BI tools to support decision-making across departments.
  • Create advanced Excel models for forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
  • Query and manage financial data using SQL to support reporting and reconciliation processes.
  • Work closely with Finance, IT, and Operations teams to ensure date consistency and support business initiatives.

Education

B.S. in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or related field preferred or related field experience.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Excel, Access, Tableau, SQL.
  • Strong decision-making skills with a sense of urgency.
  • Proven track record in leadership and strong team building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve objectives and deliver results.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, managers, and across departments.
  • Experience with managing databases and customer service.
  • Must be organized with strong attention to detail.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports.

Work Environment

This job generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is low.
