Role Overview

As the Financial Data Analyst, you’ll have a big mission. Responsible for assuring the Company’s standards are achieved and excellent customer service is delivered. You also understand the value of taking a moment to express gratitude to the village that helped to make it happen. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly and quarterly financial analyses across revenue, expenses, NOI, and key performance metrics.
• Identify trends, variances, and performance drivers relative to budget and forecast.
• Collaborate with leadership to provide clear, actionable explanations of financial performance.
• Support ad hoc financial modeling, scenario analysis, and decision‑support activities.
• Manage and maintain the underlying formulas, logic, and structure of BH’s budgeting and forecasting tools.
• Ensure forecasting assumptions and calculations are accurate and aligned with financial strategies.
• Update, validate, and enhance forecasting methodologies as business conditions evolve.
• Troubleshoot issues within the forecasting model and ensure system and data integrity.
• Document model structure, assumptions, and calculation logic to support transparency and continuity.
• Extract, prepare, and analyze financial and operational data using SQL and Excel.
• Support Power BI reporting, including financial performance dashboards and forecast tracking.
• Partner with the Data Science Manager to improve automation, data accuracy, and efficiency across reporting workflows.
• Ensure consistency between reporting systems and forecasting models.
• Maintain high standards for accuracy, documentation, and version control.
• Continuously improve model efficiency, scalability, and overall reliability.

You Have

• 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
• Experience in multifamily real estate or real estate investment, preferred.
• Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency (including complex formulas and scenario modeling).
• Experience building and maintaining forecasting or budgeting tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL; familiarity with Power BI preferred, with familiarity with Snowflake or cloud data warehouse environments.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and performance metrics, and experience collaborating with analytics or data science teams.
• High attention to detail and comfort managing complex formula-driven models.
• Ability to translate financial results into clear insights for leadership.
