Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Data Integrations Consultant to design, implement, and support integrations between financial systems, ERP platforms, data warehouses, and third‑party applications. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and secure movement of financial data to support accounting, reporting, and operational processes. The ideal candidate brings strong hands‑on integration experience, a solid understanding of financial data flows, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain financial data integrations across ERP, accounting, POS, PMS, procurement, and third‑party financial systems
  • Analyze source and target data structures to ensure accurate data mapping, transformation, and validation
  • Build, support, and monitor batch and real‑time integrations using APIs, file‑based integrations (FTP/SFTP), and messaging frameworks
  • Troubleshoot integration failures, data discrepancies, and reconciliation issues across systems
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to gather requirements and define clear integration specifications
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, data mapping documents, and operational support procedures
  • Support unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Provide post‑implementation support and continuously optimize existing integrations
  • Ensure integrations comply with security, audit, and data governance standards

Required Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of experience in system or data integrations, preferably involving financial systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Hands‑on experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), file‑based integrations, and data transformation tools
  • Strong command of scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, C#, or other managed‑code languages
  • Advanced hands‑on experience with SQL, including analyzing, validating, and reconciling data in relational databases
  • Strong understanding of data formats, including JSON, XML, CSV, SQL, and flat files
  • Experience working with FTP/SFTP and structured data exchanges
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ETL concepts, data pipelines, and data warehousing
  • Prior consulting or client‑facing experience
  • Experience with workflow engines, automation tools, or API gateways
  • Understanding of financial data concepts, including GL, AR, AP, revenue, and payments
  • Hospitality industry experience, particularly hotel accounting or operational systems
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
  • Experience with Infor ION, Infor Document Management, or Infor Data Flows

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
