Responsibilities

• Translate a wide range of financial literacy content from English to Spanish, including articles, guides, presentations, and multimedia materials
• Proofread and edit translations to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines
• Interpret complex financial terminology into clear, accessible language suitable for diverse audiences in person sessions
• Transcribe audio or video content related to financial education for translation purposes
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure translations accurately reflect technical concepts and context
• Maintain high standards of quality control through meticulous review and revision processes
• Support the development of culturally relevant materials that resonate with Spanish-speaking communities

Skills

• Multilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with exceptional translation skills in both languages including speaking and writing
• Strong communication skills to convey complex financial information clearly and effectively
• Proven experience in translation, interpretation, transcription or linguistics, preferably within financial or educational sectors
• Excellent proofreading and editing abilities to ensure error-free content
• Deep understanding of financial terminology and concepts in both languages
• Writing skills that demonstrate clarity, precision, and cultural sensitivity
• Prior linguist experience working with diverse audiences enhances the quality of translations and interpretations

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
