Financial Marketing Representative 1

This position works directly with the sales teams in conjunction with external lenders by providing finance solutions for new and used machine purchases, leases and Rental Purchase Option opportunities for Machine, Crane, Power and Product Support. Additionally, this position is responsible for processing all credit applications for the Cat Commercial Credit Account for new lines of credit in addition to line increases. The position requires a self-motivated, well-organized individual who can work effectively with a variety of people. Must be able to assimilate a broad range of information simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment, schedule priority work effectively, be results oriented and work successfully with minimal supervision.

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Essential Functions:

  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Coordination of finance opportunities to enhance the level of new sales and rental unit conversions
  • Providing payoffs for conversion contracts, providing quotes on finance options and handling communication between customers, sales, and lenders
  • Limited Customer interactions
  • Review of all sales contracts for accuracy and coordination of financial lending opportunities
  • Submission of financial packages and closing of finance packages
  • Track and coordinate deal package from submittal to completion, including funding from lender
  • Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

This position requires a self-motivated, well- organized individual who can work effectively with a variety of people. Must be able to assimilate a broad range of information simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment, schedule priority work effectively, be results oriented and work successfully with minimal supervision.

  • Additional requirements:

o PC literacy in MS Excel, MS Word, and the Internet

o Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

o Strong finance acumen preferred

o Ability to model Holt’s VBL Culture

o Ability to complete Holt’s VBL Classes to include: DISC, POP, SLII, Conflict Resolution and Influencing, and successfully apply the tools (Learn)

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree &/or 2-4 years practical financial training or experience required
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License preferred or obtained within 18 months of hire

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Travel:

  • No more than 10%

Physical Requirements:

  • This job is generally performed in a professional office environment
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines

Work Environment:

  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally, occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets, etc.

  • This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
