Position Summary

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst plays a key role in providing analytical and financial support across the organization. This position assists in financial performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure the leadership team has timely and accurate data for informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze company financial statements, including performance, sales trends, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Support financial reporting and covenant compliance processes.
• Monitor monthly operating statements and conduct variance analysis against budgets, prior year, and run rates.
• Assist with preparation of quarterly and annual reports for the Executive Team and Shareholders.
• Support the development, dissemination, and integration of departmental budgets.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and financial models for analysis purposes.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects such as process improvements or cross-functional initiatives assigned by the Director of FP&A.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (required).
• 0–2 years of finance-related experience; internships or relevant coursework preferred.
• Multi-unit restaurant or retail industry experience a plus.
• Advanced Excel spreadsheet and financial modeling skills.
• SQL proficiency required.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities across all levels of the organization.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Salary

$75,000 - 85,000 based on experience

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer, as well as occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally in support of office and equipment needs.
