Position: FP&A Analyst

Our prestigious, established global client is seeking a Customer FP&A Analyst to deliver financial insights that support pricing decisions, customer performance evaluation and profitability improvement across key accounts. This position works closely with Finance, Sales and Commercial teams to transform complex customer and market data into actionable recommendations. Candidates must bring hands‑on Customer FP&A experience within the automotive supply chain, ideally with exposure to interior components or surface materials.
Responsibilities

Lead forecasting, budgeting and long‑range planning at the customer level

Prepare, interpret and present customer P&Ls along with detailed variance analyses

Build financial models, profitability tools and dashboards to support commercial decisions

Analyze customer trends including pricing, volume mix, margins and overall account performance

Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to evaluate pricing, discounts and rebates

Assess new business opportunities, bids, and renewals from a financial perspective

Review customer financials and provide insights on risk, opportunity and projected performance

Consolidate and verify data from ERP, CRM and BI systems to support accurate reporting

Maintain and enhance customer KPIs, dashboards, and executive‑level presentations

Automate recurring reports and streamline data visualization processes

Provide financial support during commercial negotiations to ensure alignment with profitability targets

Perform ad‑hoc analysis including cost‑to‑serve, customer segmentation, and pricing strategy projects

Identify opportunities to improve finance and commercial processes
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related with MBA CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred

4-5 years of Customer FP&A experience in the automotive industry with Tier 1or 2 suppliers

Experience analyzing customer or product‑level profitability and interpreting financial statements

Solid data management, modeling, and reporting experience and abilities

Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills

High attention to detail, accuracy, and business judgment

Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and operate with urgency

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills and are able to build financial models and presentations

Proficiency with ERP accounting software platforms with stellar technological skills
