Financial Planning Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to join our team and drive strategic financial initiatives. Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
• Prepare accurate and insightful financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and pricing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
• Support regulatory reporting requirements by preparing detailed financial statements and documentation.
• Perform account analysis and reconcile discrepancies within financial software systems.
• Contribute to cost accounting initiatives by analyzing expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on corporate accounting projects, including audit preparations and internal controls.
• Interpret complex financial reports to provide actionable insights for senior management.
• Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with organizational goals.

Skills

• Strong understanding of financial concepts such as profit & loss management, investment analysis, and cost accounting.
• Proficiency with financial software tools used for report writing, analysis, and forecasting.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including IFRS, GAAP, and SOX compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and interpretation of complex data sets.
• Experience in public accounting or corporate finance environments is highly desirable.
• Effective communication skills for presenting financial insights clearly to diverse audiences.
• Technical accounting skills with a focus on IFRS, GAAP, and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to perform detailed account analysis and variance analysis.
