Financial Planning Senior Analyst

Overview:

The Financial Planning Senior Analyst – Marketing Finance Operations serves as a strategic finance partner to the Marketing organization, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across media spend, administrative spend, capital investments, and loyalty programs. This role owns key financial planning processes, delivers actionable insights, and partners closely with Marketing leadership and their teams to optimize spend effectiveness and improve return on investment.

Responsibilities:
  • Own end to end marketing spend forecasting, variance analysis, and investment tracking across media channels and programs
  • Partner with Marketing leaders to evaluate spend tradeoffs and prioritize investments
  • Develop insights on marketing effectiveness, ROI, and performance drivers to inform senior level decision making
  • Maintain and enhance recurring marketing financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, scalability, and clarity of insights
  • Build and maintain strong understanding of report metrics, data structure, and tools used for reporting and analysis
  • Complete invoice processing, spend tracking, and governance to ensure accurate actuals and timely vendor payment
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and analytical depth
  • Respond to questions from leadership regarding media spend, reporting outputs, and financial results
  • Complete adhoc assignments and projects as needed, proactively identifying opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and bottom-line results
Qualifications:
  • 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, marketing finance, or analytical roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Analytics
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse personalities, priorities, and timelines
  • Confidence engaging in direct conversations and performance discussions with business teams across all levels
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to present insights clearly to non-finance partners
  • Experience working with large datasets; SQL and Tableau strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across functions and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • One Stream or comparable planning tools experience preferred

Pay Range: USD $57,000.00 - USD $95,000.00 /Yr.
