Financial Reporting Senior Specialist

We are looking for a talented and motivated Financial Reporting Senior Specialist to join our team located in Sarıyer / Istanbul. In this role, you will be responsible for monthly financial reporting, closing activities, P&L and balance sheet analyses, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes in line with global standards .

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports, analyzing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
• Oversee the monthly closing process and ensure accuracy of accounting transactions
• Regularly monitor and analyze P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
• Conduct revenue and expense analyses to identify cost optimization opportunities and insight on financial performance
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial data and reporting
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports requested by management
• Partner closely with Operations, Sales, and Business Leaders to support decision-making
• Support annual budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, budgeting, or financial reporting (experience in audit firms is an advantage)
• Knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
• Self‑driven, detail‑oriented, and highly organized
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., JDE Edwards, Hyperion) is an advantage
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Good command of both written and spoken English
• Construction Accounting knowledge is an advantage
