Job Summary: The Financial Sales Representative is an integral member of the
Finance and Sales team. This role provides completion of deal support while providing
superior customer service to internal and external customers in adherence with Holt’s
mission statement and in support of organizational goals.
Essential Functions:
- Performs duties in support of sales and finance teams to provide accurate and
timely coordination of sales orders, documents, quotes, program filings and
invoicing - Reviews sales contracts for accuracy and provides
recommendations/suggestions on corrections to ensure customers are able to
use appropriate marketing programs - Utilizes applicable billing systems to ensure timely and accurate invoicing,
program filings and warranty enrollments while meeting individual productivity,
accuracy and timeliness metrics - Remains current on applicable programs and processes to ensure a high level of
accuracy on submitted documentation - Maintains appropriate internal controls regarding documentation on the
financial closure, reporting, and processes on the customer to invoice lifecycles - Acts as liaison with internal departments and customers as needed and
answers/resolve internal and external customer issues - Collaborates on process improvement strategies as well as participate in
meetings and engagement activities - Calculates commissions on machine sales, rentals and leases; prepares monthly
commission statements in an accurate and timely manner and according to
current commission scales - Assist with development, roll out, and maintenance of internal SOP's
- Adheres to all deadlines and reporting requirements as set by management
and/or rules and regulations - Investigates/resolves variances on the program and warranty dollars received on a
timely basis - Answer and resolve customer (internal/external) questions and needs
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies
with all company policies, procedures, and standards - Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Significant knowledge of CAT products, and the relationship between Finance,
Sales and other operational departments to include New Inventory, Work Tools
and Service Department - Advanced knowledge of deal processes as well as transaction code/entry code
usage as they relate to invoices, CAT credit statements, finance billing
instructions and payoffs - Proficient in the use of computer programs and systems utilized by the company
(DBS, Cat Systems, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Documentum, Box, Monday
Boards, etc.) - Strong research, problem-solving, and investigation skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills including both written and oral
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple
departments and various levels of the organization - Excellent organizational, planning, multi-tasking, and time management skills,
deadline-oriented - Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high volume
an environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
- Four years of relevant experience required, six or more years preferred

- This position involves extended periods in a stationary position; additionally,
the occasional movement inside the office to access office machinery, file cabinets,
etc. - This role frequently communicates with others, must be able to exchange
accurate information in these situations - This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones,
photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines - Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 15 lbs.
Work Environment: - This job is generally performed in a professional office environment
- Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
