SUMMARY
Allworth Financial is seeking motivated, high-potential students to join our 10-week Summer Financial Services Internship Program. This immersive, paid internship is designed as an early-career on-ramp into Allworth's Associate Advisor pathway and provides meaningful, hands-on exposure to fiduciary wealth management.
Interns will work alongside CFP® professionals, Associate Advisors, and cross-functional planning teams to support real client work, contribute to advisory processes, and develop foundational skills essential for long-term success in financial planning.
This is not a shadowing experience. Interns are active contributors to planning workflows, client preparation, and internal initiatives while receiving structured coaching and professional development.
High-performing interns may be considered for future early-career opportunities with Allworth Financial, subject to business need and performance.
PROGRAM STRUCTURE
This 10-week internship is structured to provide both technical training and applied advisory experience. We are looking for this candidate to sit in either our Folsom, CA , Addison, TX or Kennesaw, GA office. This position pays an hourly rate of $20 per hour and will report to a Regional Director of Designated CFP Professional.
Week 1 – Onboarding & Foundations (Addison, TX)
Fully structured onboarding experience focused on:

Weeks 2–9 – Rotations & Applied Advisory Work
Interns return to their designated office location and spend the majority of their time embedded within advisory teams, contributing to day-to-day planning, service, and operational workflows. Structured development sessions and cohort meetings occur weekly.
Week 10 – Capstone & Presentation (Addison, TX)
Interns present a capstone project demonstrating skill development, business insight, and professional growth. The program concludes with performance feedback and career discussions. (Travel and lodging covered by Allworth Financial)
Expected Schedule:
Interns are expected to work Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, during the program.
