Job Summary

We are seeking a Financial Systems & Data Specialist to own the accuracy, integrity, and usability of our Restaurant365 system across multiple restaurant locations.

This role focuses on maintaining system data (recipes, inventory, mappings), analyzing theoretical vs. actual performance, identifying discrepancies, and executing key accounting functions including accounts payable and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

Systems Ownership

• Maintain and improve Restaurant365 data integrity
• Manage recipes, ingredients, yields, and inventory mappings
• Ensure accurate cost flow from purchasing → inventory → COGS
• Troubleshoot system issues (incorrect mappings, missing items, duplicate SKUs)

Data Analysis & Variance Investigation

• Analyze theoretical vs. actual COGS and usage variances
• Identify root causes (recipes, pricing, inventory counts, operations)
• Provide clear, actionable insights to accounting and operations

Accounting & AP (Support)

• Process invoices with accurate coding in R365
• Perform reconciliations (bank, credit cards, key accounts)
• Support month-end close (accruals, cleanup, reclasses)

Cross-Functional Support

• Work with operations to improve data accuracy and processes
• Provide backup support for AP and accounting functions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, Business, Hospitality, or Information Systems preferred)
• 2–5 years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or systems/data role
• Strong Excel skills
• High attention to detail and ownership of data accuracy
• Comfortable working with and learning systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with Restaurant365
• Restaurant or hospitality experience
• Exposure to inventory, recipe costing, or POS-integrated systems

Pay: $68,000.00 per year
