Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting specials and upselling premium dishes or beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and precision
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Assist with table setup, bussing, and resetting to maintain a clean, organized dining area in accordance with sanitation guidelines
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Uphold food safety standards and proper food preparation procedures to guarantee guest health and satisfaction
• Engage in guest relations by providing attentive service, answering questions about menu items, and suggesting wine pairings or additional upselling opportunities
• Support team members during busy periods by assisting with host/hostess duties or light food preparation tasks

Experience

• Proven experience in fine dining service or upscale restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is essential for efficient order processing
• Strong background in food handling, sanitation, and food safety practices within the food industry
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining professionalism
• Previous experience in serving at nightclubs or similar nightlife venues is a plus but not required
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and bill splitting are necessary
• Knowledge of culinary terminology or kitchen experience can be advantageous for better communication with kitchen staff

Pay: $23.27 - $28.02 per hour
