Fine Dining Server

Overview
We are seeking a professional and personable Fine Dining Server to join our upscale restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a sophisticated environment, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience. This role requires a strong background in food service, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Prior fine dining experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting that values professionalism, attention to detail, and guest relations.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Present menus, recommend dishes, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and foster positive guest relations
• Assist with setting tables, bussing, and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS and cashiering skills
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to enhance guest experience

Experience

• Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is highly desirable
• Familiarity with food industry standards including food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Proven ability in upselling and sales within a hospitality environment
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Background in hospitality or food service roles such as host/host or bartender is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy

Base Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
