Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and polished Fine Dining Server to elevate our guests’ dining experience through exceptional service, refined hospitality, and expert knowledge of our culinary offerings. As a key member of our upscale restaurant team, you will create memorable moments for guests by providing attentive, personalized service in a sophisticated environment. Your role will involve expertly guiding guests through menus, recommending wine pairings, and ensuring every detail aligns with our high standards of excellence. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Present menus confidently, highlighting specials and wine pairings, and answer questions about ingredients or preparation methods.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using advanced POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities while maintaining integrity.
  • Serve food and drinks with precision, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, promptly addressing any concerns or special requests to exceed expectations.
  • Clear tables efficiently, bus dishes promptly, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area to uphold sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering tools, balancing cash drawers at shift end.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation protocols, and restaurant policies to ensure safety compliance.

Experience

  • Prior fine dining server experience is essential; familiarity with upscale restaurant environments is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tables efficiently while delivering attentive customer service.
  • Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; knowledge of OpenTable reservations system is a plus.
  • Strong background in food industry standards including food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills paired with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest relations and guest services excellence.
  • Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing purposes and cash handling responsibilities.
