Finishing Carpenter

Key Responsibilities

• Install and finish wooden structures such as doors, windows, cabinets, and furniture
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials with high accuracy
• Install trims, moldings, skirting, and decorative woodwork
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and finishing of carpentry work
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and specifications
• Repair and maintain existing woodwork as needed
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
• Inspect completed work to ensure high-quality standards
• Coordinate with supervisors, designers, and other trades on-site

Requirements

• High school diploma or technical training (preferred)
• Proven experience as a Finishing Carpenter or similar role
• Strong knowledge of finishing techniques and materials
• Ability to read technical drawings and measurements accurately
• Skilled in using carpentry tools and machinery
• High attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Good physical condition and manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
