Finishing Carpenter (Joinery)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Carpenter (Joinery) to join our team for fit-out, renovation, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in high-quality carpentry, joinery installation, furniture finishing, and operation of carpentry machinery. The role involves both on-site and workshop-based work for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform finishing carpentry and joinery works for residential, commercial, and fit-out projects
• Install doors, cabinets, wardrobes, wall panels, skirting, wooden partitions, and other joinery items
• Carry out repair, maintenance, and modification of existing wooden structures and furniture
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, and cutting lists accurately
• Operate carpentry machinery such as cutting machines, edge banding machines, sanding machines, drilling machines, and related equipment
• Ensure precise measurements, alignment, and high-quality finishing standards
• Conduct on-site adjustments and modifications during installation as required
• Coordinate with supervisors, site teams, and other trades for smooth project execution
• Maintain tools, machinery, and work areas in proper condition and ensure safe usage at all times
• Follow company procedures, project specifications, and site safety regulations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finishing Carpenter (Joinery) in fit-out, renovation, or maintenance projects
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, joinery materials, tools, and machinery
• Ability to safely operate carpentry machines and equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and execute work with accuracy
• Experience in maintenance and repair works is required
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Physically fit and capable of working on-site and in workshop environments
