Job Purpose

The Finishing Engineer (Civil) will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and ensuring quality execution of all finishing works such as plastering, painting, flooring, false ceiling, joinery, and other interior and exterior finishes. The role ensures timely completion of finishing activities as per design, specifications, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor finishing works (plaster, paint, flooring, tiling, cladding, joinery, false ceiling, etc.) at site.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, materials, and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth progress.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for finishing activities.
• Ensure proper resource planning (materials, manpower, and equipment) for finishing works.
• Maintain strict quality control and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Monitor site safety practices and ensure adherence to HSE requirements.
• Identify and resolve site issues related to finishing activities.
• Support project management team in achieving targeted timelines.
• Assist in material inspection, mock-up approvals, and snag list clearance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 4–8 years of proven experience in finishing works on residential, commercial, or institutional projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction finishing methods, materials, and quality standards.
• Good understanding of project drawings, specifications, and interior details.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (knowledge of project management tools is a plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
