Finishing Foreman

Job Description:

The Finishing Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all finishing activities on high-rise building projects, ensuring that the work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all finishing works including blockwork, plastering, painting, tiling, ceiling, joinery, and decorative works.
• Ensure all finishing activities are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate daily work between site engineers, subcontractors, and workers to meet project deadlines.
• Inspect ongoing and completed works to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Prepare and monitor daily progress reports and update the site engineer or construction manager.
• Ensure proper usage and handling of materials, tools, and equipment at the site.
• Resolve site issues, report discrepancies, and suggest corrective measures.
• Maintain site cleanliness and adherence to HSE regulations.
• Assist in manpower planning and ensure productivity and workmanship quality.
• Attend site coordination meetings when required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification (preferred).
• 8–10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in the UAE on high-rise building projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, installation methods, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and finishing details.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
