Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Finishing Site Engineer to oversee finishing works for a high-rise construction project in Sector B-17, Islamabad. The role involves supervising finishing activities on-site, ensuring quality workmanship, and coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams to deliver high-quality results within the project timeline.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building finishing works, site supervision, and quality control in large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Work Supervision

• Supervise and manage finishing works including plastering, painting, tiling, block work, marble, ceiling works, glass/curtain wall installations, and woodwork.
• Ensure finishing works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.

Installation Oversight

• Oversee installation of washroom fittings, kitchen interiors, flooring systems, PCC works, and hydronite concrete.
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure proper material usage and installation practices.

Quality Control

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and aesthetics meet project quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and construction specifications.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Resolve site coordination issues and ensure smooth workflow between teams.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily progress reports, technical reports, and site inspection reports.
• Maintain documentation including site meeting minutes, quality reports, and site records.

Problem Solving & Compliance

• Identify and resolve technical or construction issues on site.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and site regulations.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction finishing works and materials
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction documents
• Strong site supervision and coordination skills
• Excellent problem-solving and reporting abilities
• Attention to detail in quality and finishing standards

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree, DAE, or B-Tech in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of experience in finishing engineering.
• Mandatory experience in high-rise building construction projects.
• Overall experience range: 5–10 years in construction site engineering.

Pay: Up to Rs100,000.00 per month
