Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting Technician

Core Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning: Setting up new fire alarm panels, detectors, sprinkler systems, and suppression systems.
• Maintenance & Inspection: Performing routine checks, testing components (pumps, valves, wiring), and ensuring operational readiness.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing faults in addressable/conventional circuits and mechanical systems.
• Compliance: Verifying all work adheres to national and local fire safety codes and regulations.
• Reporting: Documenting all service, repairs, and inspections for clients and authorities.

Key Systems They Work With

• Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (FDAS): Conventional, addressable, smoke/heat detectors, manual call points.
• Fire Fighting Systems: Sprinklers, hose reels, hydrants, fire pumps, wet/dry risers, suppression systems (like clean agent systems).

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Reading mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with relevant codes (e.g., UAE Civil Defense).
• Willing to Learn
