Fire Alarm Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm and detection systems in commercial, industrial, and residential environments.

You will work closely with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure all systems comply with relevant codes and standards, including NFPA, or local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and program fire alarm systems based on project specifications and drawings.
• Perform installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm and detection systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults in fire alarm systems and associated equipment.
• Ensure compliance with applicable fire and building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct site surveys and prepare technical documentation (drawings, O&M manuals, test reports).
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Provide technical support, training, and guidance to junior engineers or technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of system inspections, service calls, and maintenance reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Fire Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with fire alarm systems (design, installation, or service).
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
