About the Role:

The Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining Fire Alarm, Central Battery System (CBS), and ELV systems. The role supports preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure system reliability, safety compliance, and achievement of project and site objectives.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Fire Alarm, CBS, and ELV systems.

· Carry out emergency and unscheduled repairs, as well as planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities.

· Ensure all work is executed in compliance with SLA, KPI, project timelines, and client requirements.

· Follow client instructions and coordinate closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Project Engineer.

· Communicate openly and promptly report any technical issues, delays, or risks that may affect project execution.

· Organize and coordinate daily work activities and update the Maintenance Supervisor on progress.

· Perform basic and routine electrical work as required.

· Apply technical skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including fault diagnosis and repair.

· Read and interpret drawings, equipment manuals, specifications, and work orders.

· Diagnose system faults, replace or repair components, conduct testing, and make necessary adjustments.

· Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, including detailed service reports for site activities.

· Follow up daily with supervisors regarding pending work orders, material requests, and task completion.

· Use hand tools, power tools, electrical testing instruments, and material handling equipment safely and effectively.

· Identify faulty operations, defective materials, or abnormal conditions and report them to supervision.

· Conduct site surveys of buildings and carry out repairs or recommendations for Fire Alarm, CBS, and ELV systems.

· Inspect fire protection systems and coordinate or schedule necessary corrective actions.

· Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and maintain clean, organized work areas.

· Support team objectives and carry out additional tasks as assigned by superiors.

· Ensure that QHSE (Quality, Health and Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures are effectively implemented on-site.

Qualifications & Skills

• A minimum of a Diploma in Engineering or related
• A minimum of 2 years of work experience as a maintenance and fire alarm technician
